Incredible how powerful these three little words are and how they evoke an array of varying emotions for each person who hears them. :) I'm pretty excited that we're celebrating our 2nd Annual Count-Up to New years. From December 1st to January 1, we will be spending the holidays with our readers so nobody has to be alone this holiday season. ;) This issue of Empowerment House is edgy and hits on most any topic that will make the human heart pound. This Celebrating Humanity: Change The World issue is filled with only a few of the many, many humane acts that are taking place all over the world in hopes of raising awareness. I'm totally excited about Humanitarians Unite, which is a new community that I've started on Facebook (see below). Do You Believe It's Possible To Change the World?
When it only costs pennies a day to feed a human, have you ever wondered WHY we may feel it's impossible to change the world and lessen human suffering?
If one million people joined and each donated $5 a month to a NEW charity that spent funds "ethically", would the simplicity of changing the world become a new human awareness? Do you believe that a mass of "honest, non-greedy, and loving" people can change the world? If you believe, please "Like Us" on Facebook today plus tell all your friends to do the same.True leaders lead future leaders! Let's rock the planet my friends! Let's lead the way for future generations and a healthier existence for humankind. *****HUMANITARIANS UNITE***** What is a humanitarian? Someone who is interested in the well-being of humans |

I've been working with young adults (our future) for over ten years and researching the psychology of the human being for a few years at both the University of Toronto and Ryerson University. I've also been working closely with governments all over North America in hopes of finding a solution for helping our young adults. The only solution that has come up solid is that we need to change the minds and opinions of the public because, at present, studies have shown that although global help is needed more than ever, we as humans are giving less. We are not leading our young adults into a healthy future and it's time to make the change. Many believe that if we could feed the starving, it would be done.
It takes pennies a day to feed a child. Realistically, if one million people joined together on the internet and let's say donated $5 each a month, would five million dollars not feed a lot of people around the world each month? Question: Why do we believe the things that we believe when they do not make sense? Many don't have faith in charities so have given up on donating.
If you could be part of a global community and support an ethical charity to feed the world and "change" how our young adults feel about leading us into the future, would you? Question: Why wouldn't you? Many feel that young adults are just a selfish and entitled generation that cannot be helped. Who led this generation? The same people who can turn this around and guide our young adults into a healthy future, which in turn, will give them reason to respect their older generation. Question: Would you sleep better at night if you knew our young adults were on track and that you are part of the solution? Many feel that it's too late. The world is too pathetic to do anything with. In my opinion, it's not acceptable to give up on our own family/race. The human race, our relatives and ancestors, have all fought for humanity since the beginning of time. Whether they were fighting wars to keep us safe or creating antibiotics to keep us alive, there has never been a day that many on this planet gave every minute of their lives to help humans, us, survive. Question: Is it ever too late to stop a human suffering and working in the best interest of human kind? Is it ever too late to help our younger generations? Please become part of our community so together we can possibly work towards changing the world which means changing the attitudes and opinions of our young adults.
Happy holidays my friends and I'm looking forward to spending time with you this season, Lisa
